Position: Manager, St Marys & Area Mobility Service

Full Time, Permanent

START DATE: As soon as possible

 

Position Summary:

St. Marys & Area Mobility Service is a not-for-profit accessible transportation provider. The Manager oversees the daily operations of the service, including staffing, financial management, resource management, and participation in all regional network tables and OHT. The Manager, with oversight from the Board of Directors, guides the implementation of all strategic priorities.

 

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm, some evening or extended hours as needed

On-Call: yes

 

Reports to: Board of Directors

 

Qualifications:

Education:

  • Undergraduate degree from an accredited university in social sciences or business preferred

  • Graduate or post-graduate level education in business, leadership, or non- profit management an asset

  • Additional training in human resources, financial operations, LEAN methodology, change management and innovative leadership an asset   

 

Experience:

  • 3-5 years of progressive supervisory or management experience

  • Experience working in a collaborative environment, contributing to regional network tables with multiple sector stakeholders

  • Knowledge of and/or experience working within the CSS sector or with an OHT

  • Experience managing an operational budget

  • Experience with OH reporting and MSAA processes an asset

 

Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills that contribute to effective problem solving and decision-making

  • Coaching and mentorship skills, ability to develop self and others through shared accountability

  • Excellent computer skills, use of Microsoft Office Suite required, experience with Novus, CIMS or AlayaCare an asset

  • Proven track record of attending work

  • Valid G level Ontario Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle

 

COMPENSATION:

  • Competitive hourly wage, starting at $35.25/hr

  • Paid Vacation and Sick Days
